"Currently I am a senior studying Hospitality and Tourism Management with an interest in event planning, but open to learn about all scopes of the industry. In the summer of 2016 I was an events intern in the D.C. area with Terry Kaye Events that specializes in wedding, social and corporate occasions. Starting in January 2017 I did another events intern with The College of Business and Economics here at WVU. After completing this internship, I decided I wanted to learn more than just event planning and specifically about food and beverage. This past summer I did a rotation in the F&B department at the Morgantown Marriot for my third internship. As of now, I am still working at B&E as the events assistant and I am set to graduate in May of 2018. When I am not focusing on my studies or work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, crafting and trying new restaurants."
